Mi.Fa.Bene. - MINORS, FAMILY, WELFARE

ISG IFO is a partner of Roma Capitale (Coordinator) and Sapienza University of Rome for the Project Mi.Fa.Bene – Minors, Family.
Project description
The project is part of the program founded by Italian Ministry of Interior to protect the Health of Immigrants (Fondo FAMI) to improve the quality of the programs and services of the National Health Service for immigrants.
Purpose
The Project aims to realize a new integrated standard procedure for promoting health in foreign/migrant minors. In particular, the protocol should focus on prevention and as a measure against violence as intended by the Guarantor Authority for Childhood and Adolescence (physical violence, psychological violence, gender-based violence, sexual violence, assisted violence, pathology care violence – including neglect, and hypercare –) and should be adapted to a multi-ethnic and multicultural environment taking into account gender variation, concerning for example, genital female cutting.
To reinforce territorial networks between public (Roma Capitale social services and health services of Regione Lazio) and private facilities working to curb violence against minors in the metropolitan area of Rome. This includes creating a third layer of service in support of preventive services and of emergence and care of foreign minors (including MISNA), of victims or potential victims of violence and of their families.
To reduce organisational and cultural barriers to access to social services in Roma Capitale and to healthcare services in Regione Lazio for the prevention and contrast of violence against minors.
Financial support
The total cost of the grant-eligible project is € 1.172, 581.
Institute Fees: € 608.295,00
