JA EUnetCCC - European Network on Comprehensive Cancer Centres

The Joint Action EUnetCCC (European Network on Comprehensive Cancer Centres) is funded by the European Union under the EU4Health programme and is managed by the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA).
Launched in November 2024, the project will run for four years and builds on the achievements of previous Joint Actions, including JA CraNE, JA CanCon, and JA iPAAC.
The primary aim of JA EUnetCCC is to establish a cohesive and integrated network of Comprehensive Cancer Centres (CCCs) across Europe. This network will ensure that all patients, regardless of their geographical location, have access to high-quality cancer care. Additionally, the project promotes collaboration between CCCs, enabling them to share best practices, resources, and expertise.
- Implementation and support of Comprehensive Cancer Care Networks (CCCNs) in all EU Member States.
- Development and refinement of standards of care, quality indicators, and structured patient pathways.
- Creation of training instruments and support tools to assist in the implementation of CCCNs.
- Feasibility testing and certification of CCCNs at up to six pilot sites.
- Development of sustainability recommendations to ensure long-term integration of CCCNs into national healthcare systems.
